Chicken drumsticks are kids' favourite snacks. They are easy to prepare. It's very good for the school lunch box. Few ingredients are required to make chicken drumsticks. On my side, I use popsicle sticks instead of chicken leg bones.



 I have two different recipes for chicken drumsticks.  I share 1st recipe which is the restaurant-style I love to eat at when I was a kid.

Tips for making chicken drumsticks:

  • Used finely chopped cabbage, onion and green chillies. 
  • Gram flour (besan) is used only to combine the ingredients.
  • A small amount of water is required if necessary. 
  • Baking powder is just because of gram flour (besan) otherwise drumsticks remain hard.
  • Deep fry is a must but if you are conscious of oil usage then shallow fry is ok.

You can translate recipe in urdu or any other language.

Ingredients:

  •  250 gm boneless chicken boiled 
  • 1/2 cup chopped Cabbage 
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 6-7 green chillies 
  • 4-5 tbsp. besan 
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tbsp. red chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp. black pepper powder 
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Cooking Instructions:

Take a large bowl,  add shredded boiled chicken then add chopped cabbage, onion and green chillies.
Then add salt, chilli flakes, baking soda and black pepper. Then add besan(gram flour) to it and mix until all ingredients are combined. The mixture is a bit hard.  Now take chicken leg bones or popsicle sticks and make an oval shape with the mixture on it.
Prepare almost 10 from this mixture. Deep frying in a hot oil skillet.
Serve hot. Enjoy with tea or your favourite soft drink.
