Mushroom Cheese Pocket Recipe

 A very yummy recipe that my family love to eat as a dinner or side dish that is mushroom cheese pocket. It's a bun crust from outside and cheese and mashroom inside. A good combination for a mouth-watering recipe.


You can translate recipe in urdu or any other language.

INGREDIENTS FOR DOUGH:

FLour (Maida) 2 cups

Yeast 1tbsp.

Sugar 1 tsp.

Salt 1/2 tps.

Oil  2 tbsp.

1/2 cup warm water

INGREDIENTS  FOR FILLING:

Mushroom 1cup sliced

Green onion 3-4 tbsp.

Garlic chopped 1 tsp.

Mozrilla cheese 1/2 cup,shredded

Black pepper 

Soya sauce

Serving: 3-4 servings 

METHOD:

DOUGH:

First take yeast, sugar add water and leave it to rise for 5 minutes. 

After yeast rises up, add salt flour and knead well. Spray oil in a bowl and let the dough rise in it. 

Spray oil on the top of the dough and cover with damp cloth or lid. This dough rise in 20 minutes. 

In the meantime, preheat oven to 200°C.

FILLING:

Heat oil in a skillet and sauté garlic ,add sliced mushrooms, add soya sauce, pinch of salt, black pepper.

 Cook for 2-3 minutes then add chopped green onion. Turn off the flame. 

When the dough is ready, cut it into 4 equal balls and roll each in a circle. Spoon the filling on one half side, top with some cheese and fold other on it.

Use a fork to crimp down the edges just to secure everything. 

Now bake in oven for about 10-12minutes at 200°C.

Enjoy with ketchup or alone.
